SKILL DEVELOPMENT
A) Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra
Vikas Bharti Bishunpur has implemented Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendra (PMKK) under the guidance of the National Skill Development Cooperation (NSDC) with the main purpose of making the youths to be employable or to motivate them towards being self employed. The PMKK training centres are with utmost state of art and that to be of international standards as recommended by NSDC. All the youth with the age limits of 18-35 years are given subsequent training under PMKK in various domains that includes domestic data entry operator, unarmed security guards, assistant electricians, self employed tailor and home care supports. At Present Vikas VBharti is running 5 PMKK in Palamu, Chatra, Gumla , Latehar and Garhwa districts of Jharkhand.
B) JannShikshan Sansthan (JSS)
Jan Shikshan Sansthan aims at providing vocational training to illiterates, neo-literates along with school drop-outs from the rural areas through identifying the necessary skills that covers the relevant market of those areas. This covers the SCs, STs, Women, Girls, Slum Dwellers and Migrant Workers of ages 15 yeras or above. Vikas Bharti is running a total of 5 JSS in Ranchi, Khunti Gumla, Garhwa and Dumka as accorded by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India.
Objectives :
1.To impart vocational skills, life skills and technical knowledge to the illitrate and neo- literates so as to improve their work efficiency and productivity.
2.To make the locals employable and develope the entrepreneurship skills into them.
3.To uplift the rural economy by providing the necessary skill trainings to the rural population and subsequently enhancing the local trades and markets.
C) Non-Departmental Training Centre (NDTC) Vikas Bharti Bishunpur has started a separate centre named as Non- Departmental Training Centre through the support of KVIC at Bishunpur on 29th December, 2022 so as to give skill development training in various trades that includes Carpentary, Bee Keeping, Food processing, Welding, Tailoring to the rural locals especially the youths so that they can get market driven entrepreneurship skills at local levels.
